Leica M10-R to be announced soon

The existence of the Leica M10-R with a high resolution CMOS sensor has been known for sometime and was allegedly postponed due to the pandemic, but according to well-known source Nokishita Camera, the eagerly awaited camera should be announced over the next few days. There’s no word yet on price or availability, or even the actual sensor resolution. Although expected to use a similar 47MP sensor to that found in the Leica SL2, the same was said of the M10 Monochrom, which in the end shipped with a 40MP sensor.
