UPDATE: Some commentators have said this is a money grab. I don’t see it that way. If you’re coming from an earlier version then this is a legitimate way to upgrade to 20 and save on 21 (you’ll get a free upgrade to it). If you’re on version 20 then, yes it may be better to wait, though if you always upgrade anyway then you can save 20% doing it. And, you probably won’t have long to wait till 21 is announced.
Capture One is promoting the new version 21 – it’s not out yet but Capture One 20 perpetual license holders pre-ordering an upgrade for version 21 will receive 20% off and immediately receive a Sample styles pack for free. This pack will include 5 styles from their most popular collections (Beyond Film, Beyond B&W, Film, Seasonal, Latitude – Sunbound).
In order to qualify you must apply the code PREORDER2020 at checkout. Please follow this link for more details – you will need to log-in to your Capture One account.
Please note an earlier version of this news story stated that a customer buying a perpetual license for version 20 would receive a 20% discount. That was incorrect, the discount only applies to those existing license holders of Capture One 20 when pre-ordering version 21.
Existing users of Capture One 12 and older versions can now upgrade to Capture One 20 and get a free upgrade to Capture One 21 when it’s launched. Please follow this link for more details – you will need to log-in to your Capture One account.
Customers who have taken advantage of the recent promotion on annual pre-paid subscriptions will, of course, be upgraded to version 21 as soon as it’s released. There no details of any new features.
