Canon announces astro-oriented RF 14mm F1.4L VCM lens

Key features and user benefits

Rectilinear ultra-wide hybrid-type prime for lower distortion (supplemented with digital (profile) correction)

High image quality promised across the frame, adopting aspheric, UD, BR and Fluorite elements

Voice Coil Motor for smooth, quiet and precise autofocus, including focus breathing suppression (aimed at hybrid, read video performance). Additional Nano USM for floating element control; provides close focus aberration correction

11-blade circular aperture for improved depiction/out of focus transition, and 22-point starburst effects

Iris Ring, Control Ring and Lens Control button for more versatile and instinctive manual control
