About the Digital Journal of Photography. This site is published and edited by Kevin Carter, a photographer and photography journalist. A former freelance editorial photographer (France, Hertfordshire Life, etc), contributing editor, technical writer and consultant, he is an industry veteran with over 20 years’ experience in print and online media.
For well over a decade, he was a contributing editor to the British Journal of Photography, first when it was a weekly and later when it moved to a monthly, and spent a similar period at Digital Photographer magazine.
He has contributed 1000s of articles and reviews to some of the most widely known and respected specialist photography and IT titles in the UK, Europe and the US, including CNET (CBS), Hotshoe, Professional Photographer, F2 Freelance Photographer, DxOMark/DXOMARK, Which Camera?, Which Digital Camera?, DSLR User, Digital Photo Pro, MacUser, MacFormat, PCPlus, PCPro and Trusted Reviews. Manufacturer titles include Nikon Europe NPS, Nikon Pro magazine and Canon Europe CPS, Pro Stories website.
