The Digital Journal of Photography is edited by Kevin Carter, a photographer and photography journalist. He is a former magazine photographer and journalist, photography magazine editor and a recovering reviewer having contributed 1000s of articles to some of the most widely known and respected specialist photography and IT titles in the UK, Europe and the US, including CNET, BJP, HotShoe International, Professional Photographer, Digital Photographer, MacUser and PCPro.
From 2012-14 he was Senior Editor at DxOMark (now DXOMARK) and responsible for all Camera (Sensor), Lens and Mobile reviews, and known in particular for promoting the benefits of sensor dynamic range as the crucial benchmark in the site’s Sensor Reviews.
He still contributes to that site as an editor and to several magazines and websites, and is available for both writing and architecture, interior and garden photography commissions.
He is a Capture One Pro author and evangelist and offers retouching and industry consultancy services upon request.
