Leica has announced a special edition of the Leica Q, the Leica Q Khaki. Clad in khaki leather trim and with chrome top and bottom plates the Leica Q Khaki is reminiscent of the Leica M Safari versions. In all other respects, the new khaki model is the same as regular Leica Q. The Leica Q remains one of the most compelling compacts currently available, however, the announcement of another limited edition will fuel the debate about when to expect a new model. Capture One Pro Fujifilm Available As Perpetual License
Phase One announced at Photokina this year that Capture One Pro 11.3 was available with extended RAW support for Fujifilm cameras, most notably that they supported the medium format GFX 50S (and new GFX 50R, unofficially). Phase One also introduced a less feature rich Express version Capture One Express Fujifilm specifically for Fujifilm users, which is offered as a similar arrangement to the Capture One Express Sony. Capture One Express lacks some of the features of the Pro version such as Sessions, Layers and tethered camera control, but RAW file support for the cameras and lens profiles doesn’t vary. LG announces Five Camera LG V40 THINQ
Korea based LG Electronics has today unveiled the LG V40 THINQ, a premium smartphone with five cameras, though it’s not quite what it seems in that the rear camera setup has only three separate camera modules. The other two are used for selfies on the front. Fujifilm GFX 100 medium format camera with IBIS announced

The 102MP GFX 100 medium format camera is a more conventionally styled model than the current GFX 50S and will include on-sensor PDAF across the entire frame. Information is sparse but the 102 megapixel sensor in the GFX 100 is expected to be 43.8 x 32.2mm sensor, like that found in the 50S and 50R models. Fujifilm has announced the GFX 50R, a rangefinder-styled medium format model based on the earlier GFX 50S. It adopts the same 51.4-MP cropped medium format sensor (43.8 x 32.2mm) as its sibling and much of the rest of the internals, albeit in a smaller, more compact body and with a significantly lower ticket. The GFX 50R adds Bluetooth connectivity with a smartphone and offers a similar build and weatherproofing as the 50S. Sony has announced a new ultra-high speed lens for its mirrorless APS-C and full-frame camera systems, the FE 24mm F1.4 G Master Prime. It has a relatively complex design of 13 elements in 10 groups, with three of those being ED glass to reduce CA and focuses to (a fairly typical) 0.24m (0.79 ft). Sony claim the adoption of two XA (extreme aspherical) elements effectively suppresses sagittal flare, more commonly known as coma.
