About the Digital Journal [of Photography]. This site is published and edited by Kevin Thomas “Thom” Carter, a photographer and photography journalist. A former freelance editorial photographer and journalist (France, Hertfordshire Life), freelance photography magazine editor, technical writer and consultant, he is an industry veteran with over 20 years’ experience in print and online media.

He is also a recovering camera and software reviewer, having contributed 1000s of articles and reviews to some of the most widely known and respected specialist photography and IT titles in the UK, Europe and the US, including CNET (CBS), British Journal of Photography, HotShoe International, Professional Photographer, F2 Freelance, Digital Photographer, DxOMark/DXOMARK, Which Camera?, DSLR User, Digital Photo Pro, MacUser, MacFormat, PCPlus and PCPro. Manufacturer titles include Nikon Europe NPS, Nikon Pro magazine and Canon Europe CPS, Pro Stories website.
